Cookie Policy
Short version: no tracking, no analytics, no advertising cookies. One cookie is set only when you ask to unlock the case studies. There is no banner because nothing here needs consent.
What we store
Two things. When you use the light/dark toggle, your browser saves that choice in local storage under the key tnt-theme, so the site does not flash the wrong theme on your next visit.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
tnt-theme | Local storage | Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. | Until you clear your browser data |
tnt_cases | Cookie (first-party, HttpOnly) | Set only after you send the case study form or enter a team code, so the full case studies stay unlocked for you. It holds a signed "unlocked" marker and your company name for the "Prepared for" label, nothing else. | 400 days, renewed each time you open the case studies |
The theme value never leaves your device. The tnt_cases cookie is sent only to our own server, only to check that the case studies are unlocked; it is not used to track you or shared with anyone. Under the ePrivacy Directive both are strictly necessary / functional: each exists only because you asked for what it does, which is exempt from consent requirements.
What we do not do
To be specific, because "we value your privacy" is not information:
- No Google Analytics, and no analytics of any other kind.
- No Google Tag Manager.
- No Meta / Facebook pixel, and no advertising pixels.
- No session recording, heatmaps, or scroll tracking.
- No chat widget.
- No embedded videos from YouTube, Vimeo, or anywhere else — the videos on this site are served from our own domain.
- No third-party fonts. We self-host ours, so your browser never calls out to a font provider.
- No advertising or data-broker cookies, first-party or otherwise.
You can verify all of this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, look at the Network tab, and reload this page. Every request goes to taskntrade.com.
Server logs
Our host, Cloudflare, records standard web server request logs — including IP addresses — for security and abuse prevention. That is infrastructure logging, not tracking, and it happens whether or not you interact with anything on the page.
If we ever add analytics, this page will be rewritten and a real consent banner will ship alongside it — one that actually blocks the script until you choose. We would rather have no banner than a banner that consents to nothing.
